Industrial Revolution, working in co-operation with Allers Aluminium, is a producer of aluminium rollshutters, windows, doors, bullet proof glazing and many other products. The systems they use were originally developed in Germany and ensure German standards. Their South African premises are situated in Strand, about 55 km from Cape Town. Strand is situated in one of the most beautiful wine-growing regions in the Cape. The Indian Ocean is only few km walk/drive away and the mountains are also very nearby. You have unlimited possibilities to enjoy your sparetime staying or working in this region.

You will have varied tasks. At present they are working on a project which deals with the development and implementation of a program for the administration of stocks, stock-taking, costs of storage etc. A logical forecasting-system needs to be developed for re-orders and costs. This would be a completely independent project and the person working on it would obviously have to be computer-literate. Industrial Revolution also offers the student to write the final thesis for the diploma.
