The Heritage Foundation is an independent, private, non-profit organisation concerned with the conservation and enhancement of the man-made and natural environment and hence with the socio-economic advancement of the city and its people. The mission of the Foundation - which was established in 1987, is to conserve the architectural, cultural and natural heritage of Cape Town and its environs. The trust acts to integrate conservation with development and to protect and sustain Cape Town's incomparable assets in the interests of the public and the creation of an outstanding tourist destination.

As an intern you will be responsible for assisting the Director in all fields. That will include administration and office work, as well as assisting at meetings. Furthermore you will be required to work on your own on projects the Trust is running. Therefore you need to be a self-starter, equipped with excellent inter-personal skills.
